Bride at the Carnegie Museum of Art for her wedding

Pittsburgh Wedding Reception: Carnegie Museum of Natural History and Art

If you're trying to think of a beautiful yet unique place to have your wedding, might we recommend looking no further than the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and Art. Museums aren't usually the first type of venue that comes to mind, but we can tell you for certain, this location is classic, timeless, and one of a kind. Absolutely perfect for the type of couple that wants to break the pinterest wedding mold, but still bring a beautiful and simple atmosphere to their big day. I mean, who else has a wedding photo by a T-Rex skeleton? Brittany & JR's wedding reception was inside the Music Hall and also had their ceremony at the Heinz History Center across the street. We love that it's within walking distance of many amazing portrait locations like the Heinz Chapel Grounds, Oakland, and of course, the famous CMU steps (AKA Gotham City Hall from the Dark Knight Rises movie!).

Location: 4400 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213 .
